My favorite part was: He sobs again, “Sorry, I’m sorry...don’t deserve you.” She kisses his hair, and whispers, very tenderly, “No, you don’t.” “Then why,” his voice cracks, “why are you still here?” “Because sometimes it’s not about what you deserve or don’t deserve.” Her tone is still so very gentle with him.
